Víctor Gómez González is graduated in Physics by the University of Santiago de Compostela, and has finished his PhD thesis in 2018 (Theoretical and computational study of mixtures of ionic liquids with additives of technological interest in the presence of interfaces).

His main research lines focus on the behavior of mixtures of ionic liquids with salts of electrochemical interest, both in bulk and confined near interfaces.These studies have been performed using computational simulations (both molecular dynamics and DFT).
