I have been a Professor in the applied Physics Department at the University of the Santiago de Compostela since 1995. My research has been developed in Management and treatment of different types of waste: urban, forest and industrial, Production of solid and liquid biofuels, Studies of productivity and sustainability in soils, and Elaboration of risk indexes for the prevention and effective fight against forest fires. This research work generated thirty R&D+i activities, 49 articles, 4 Doctoral Theses supervised, 3 books edition and 2 Special Issues of the JTAC, and collaborated in three book chapters. A major 123 papers were presented in International and National Congresses. I have also been responsible at different levels of the organization of 4 international congresses. As complementary activities highlight more than 50 invited conferences.
